ഉത്തരേന്ത്യ സഭയുടെ (Church of North India) ജനറൽ സെക്രട്ടറിയായി ചുമതലയേറ്റ Rev. Dr. D. J. അജിത്കുമാർ അച്ചന് ദക്ഷിണ  കേരള മഹായിടവകയുടെ ആശംസകൾ.
അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ അനുഭവ സമ്പത്തും, അചഞ്ചലമായ സമർപ്പണവും, സഭയുടെ ദൗത്യത്തോടുള്ള അഗാധമായ പ്രതിബദ്ധതയും അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ഈ സുപ്രധാന പങ്കിനുള്ള അസാധാരണ നേതാവാക്കി മാറ്റുന്നു. ഈ പുതിയ അധ്യായം ആരംഭിക്കുമ്പോൾ, റവ. ഡോ. ഡി.ജെ. അജിത്കുമാറിന്റെ മാർഗനിർദേശപ്രകാരം ഉത്തരേന്ത്യൻ രൂപത അഭിവൃദ്ധി പ്രാപിക്കുമെന്നും ആത്മീയ പ്രചോദനത്തിന്റെ പ്രകാശഗോപുരമായി തുടരുമെന്നും വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു. സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ ആവശ്യങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ആഴത്തിലുള്ള ധാരണയോടൊപ്പം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ദർശനം, നമ്മുടെ സഭയുടെ വളർച്ചയ്ക്കും ഐക്യത്തിനും നിസ്സംശയമായും സംഭാവന ചെയ്യും.
